The weekend of April 22-24, 2011 originally scheduled for our next rally at the KOA in Petaluma, CA conflicts with Easter. Since the 4/15-17 weekend conflicts w/tax day and the following weekend starts the beginning of KOA's summer season, the rally has been changed to the weekend of April 8-10, 2011.

Watch this thread for reservation and agenda specifics.

We stopped in Petaluma today (without TM) on our way to the redwoods and Oregon Coast. Wife discovered a quilt shop she really likes so maybe we will have to make the rally next year...

Looking forward to seeing Forum Members at our TrailBlazer/TrailManor Rally at KOA, Petaluma, CA from Friday, April 8th thru Sunday, April 10th.

Attached are the registration and agenda particulars. Our agenda this year will be enhanced by the acquisition of a computer projector by the Chapter to enhance the rally experience by being able to present photo and PowerPoint presentations featuring the travels of our members and attendees together with presentations on their TM mods.

We have made two of the rally's so far. But this year we have other things in the fire for that weekend. We will be in Penngrove for Thursday - Saturday. Will try to swing buy and say hello. We do have the one in Pismo on the calendar.

Will Custom RV be there this year.

Thanks
John :)

15 registrations - 3 cancellations.

Showed movie Thursday evening for our Early Birds. Dessert served to arriving folks yesterday evening and had three slide presentations-Albuequerque Balloon Fiesta by us, a trip to Iowa by Larry Fennern and a trip to Navajo reservations in Arizona by Patte Raymond. We'll have our trailer walk this AM featuring two new '11 Elkmont 26s. This evening's potluck will feature another slide presentation - a trip to the Panama Canal by Richard and Barbara Counsil followed by the 50/50 raffle.

Conspicuous by their absence were Larry and Veronica Zieminski, Jan and Wayne Beavers, and George and Donna Nolan. Everyone says hello and we hope to see them all again at Pismo.

Matt Thacker of Custom RV made a surprised and unexpected appearance. The swing away hitch on Mark and Kerry Brewster's TM developed a serious crack in a weld, making it unsafe to return home. Luckily Matt was delivering a trailer not to far away and drove over to replace the swing-away.

Look for photos to post here Sunday afternoon.

IF you look back to spring 2006 I had a frame failure at a weld on the swing tongue on my 2005 TM 2720.

From what I have seen, the factory has changed the manufacturing process right after my failure. Fortunately, though the crack was half way around, I saw while at home washing the TM. On the road it could have been a disaster.

Here are some photos. The weather turned out near perfect and we all look forward to coming together again at Pismo Beach on September 30th.

Thanks for posting those! What has Barbara got on her head in the group photo? Looks like there may have been some people we haven't met yet....

We're looking forward to the Pismo rally. The campground is a really nice setup with the clubhouse centrally located and the pool & jacuzzi area right next to it.
