Default Seals

I understand how the bag seals and flaps work when open. How is the unit sealed when it is closed? I haven't had the opportunity to see a TM up close.

When the roofs are either up or down, the bag seal on the roof creates a water tight barrier inside and outside. When I'm camping or stored, I make sure I tilt my TM slightly high on the front hitch jack so any rain runs off towards the back. With the roofs down, they completely cover the lower box.

Your welcome. If you state where you are located, there may be a member near you that can demonstrate the seals open or closed. Most members are happy to show off their TM. We are used to it. Everywhere we go, we are asked a multitude of questions.

Would love to see a picture of the seal area when unit is closed. We purchased a new (to us) 2006 and suspect the bag seal is not closing completely and have just began troubleshooting.
