Lake Irwin near Crested Butte CO - Anyone been there?

Been researching all those wonderful places to camp in Colorado and came across this one. Anyone ever been there? Thanks!

Sorry -- never been there but my wife and I loved staying at the KOA campground in Ouray. We booked a non-power site in the back -- set among the aspen trees. We were visited daily by a doe and her 2 fawns. Our poor Aussie almost lost his mind.

have a friend who drove there last summer from our camping spot in Gunnison. I don't recall them saying anything special about it, but nothing derogatory either, except that the road was not particularly good.
Check out One Mile Campground in the Taylor River Canyon -just up the road from Almont. It is a Natl Froest campground, has electricity, well cared for toilets, and a campground host who is the best. Level sites, not to close, lots of trees. We were there Labor Day 2009 and it was great.
