Default Shower hose leak

We have a leak at the base of our indoor shower hose. Can someone give us advise on how to fix that? When the water is turned on, it squirts out where the hose fits into the base.

We'll be greatful for someone's help.

Last winter I neglected to open the faucets for the shower. A very small amount of water was trapped right where the hose screws on causing a simular crack. If yours is the hose female end you might be OK. If it is the male end at the faucet, that requires replacement of the entire unit (minus hose). I went cheap at a local RV store and got one for less than $20. Take the old one with for size. The clerk knew exactly what I did too.

The indoor shower hose screws onto the fixture. Try tightening the fitting and see if that fixes the problem.

I had to replace the plastic water line hose from the shower head to the facet because the screw-on nut , also plastic(the part that screws onto the facet), had a crack in it.
I got the replacement hose at an RV store and didn't cost too much.
Hope this helps.
