Smile Just bought 2010 sight unseen, am I crazy?

http://www.gateway-rv.com/2010-trail...pup-co-i872021

Found this listing for a LOADED 2010 2720SD for $19,900. We agreed on final price of $17,500. What do you think? Did I get a good deal, okay deal, or great deal?

It has everything I wanted, only negative is it has air conditioning which I will probably never use, but I think I got a great deal!

Can't believe I did this sight unseen! One owner, traded up for a 39 ft diesel motor home.

Guesss I can change my tag line, as I am no longer dreaming! Now I just have to transport it 1150 miles. That will probably cost about $1200

Well I did the same thing. Ha. Congrats. Looks like a nice unit. Too bad you don't live in NC where mine is.

Price sounds about right but make sure you inspect all the welds at the swing tongue for cracks. Also plan on new tires. I would also plan on replacing the in line 30 amp glass fuse and holder with something more durable like a circuit breaker.

Very nice clean unit. When folding the TM, does the solar pamel need to be removed?

No TM is perfect - even when brand new. There will be some repairs and modifications to make, but you are in the right place to learn how others have handled similar problems. Have a bottle of champagne handy for an after-delivery celebration and be sure to download a manual if you don't already know how to open your new TM.

BTW, if your TM is "loaded", the chances are that your air conditioner has a heat strip in it which does a pretty good job warming the TM on cool nights and mornings, and that might be of some use to you.

No. Based on the pictures, when folded the panel is next to the air conditioner, but it is actually mounted on the rear section so it should be far enough back to not catch shade from a/c

Default Hope to get it before vacation

I don't know yet when I will get it, but hoping it will be in time to use it on my two week vacation in three weeks. That will give me plenty of time to test it out.

You'll use the AC at one time or another. Trust me.

Thanks for that info. One more thing, the spec's listed in the dealer page show the TM has 20 capacity black holding? How is that accomplished?
