I’ve seen that. It only works on a TM if the whole thing pivots on the post to allow you to open the front shell.

Default Bike rack idea

Ed,

Might be nice, if you have a powered tongue jack. I have the old manual
side winder tongue jack. The 'fork' of the base would interfere with the crank
handle of the jack.
Another consideration, looking at the picture of the bike rack on the TS detail
page, the bikes are held really high. Just guessing but very likely higher than
one of TM's and therefore would compromise the aerodynamic efficiency of the
TM.

I have one of these -- I replaced my stock power jack with a lower profile model and put this on. I'm quite pleased with it -- it's easier for me to use over my previous "strap on the hatch" bike rack, especially considering I purchased a new TV and wanted to avoid strapping anything to it (at least for now).

It definitely rides higher than the TM, so there is likely some loss of aerodynamics, but the convenience of being able to load/unload the rear of the TV before/after hitching without needing to remove/install the rack more than makes up for it.

I looked at something like this on E Trailer. com, but it says that the electric tongue jack must be shorter than 21" , Mine is 25" high.
