Default keeping out the cold

We just bought a 2003 31/24 and there are significant gaps between the shells.
Especially around the pull-out bed. Any ideas on how to keep out cold air?...we are planning some winter camping trips. Thanks

I covered the bed bottom with the insulating bubble foilwrap. Waterpipe foam pieces do nicely tucked in air gaps between shells.

Thanks...had thought about swim noodles but couldn't figure how to make them fit. The pipe insulators make more sense. Thanks again.

You might have to adjust the pocket stops. If there is open space between the front of the front shell or the back of the rear shell and the bed, it's out of adjustment. The corners can have open spots which you can stuff something into, but you should have a seal along the front and back.

Along the edges of the bed, pool noodles are good, if the bed is centered in the opening. My first bed was, but my second TM had the bed mounted off-center. So, the noodle didn't have enough friction to hold it in. I split two noodles lengthwise, slipped them together, then they would stay in place overnight.

I also put some white rag strips in the openings between the side walls and the ends of the lower box, as there were gaps there. Also put them in the corners where the endflaps and side flaps didn't seal completely. The TM can be drafty, unless you get something plugging all the little openings that come with the expandable design. Worth the tradeoff, I believe.

Where is the gaps. Can you post some photos of the gap? Someone a few years ago had a gap and someone else was able to identify a rubber seal they were missing.
