Depending where your coming from and going to, there are federal bands on transporting fire wood out of certain states. So not only do some states parks have bands, but almost every federal CG has bands for wood out of certain states or areas.

Some state parks such as IN requires you to have de-barked fire wood or buy fire wood that is certified.

I heard of two bug out there. The EAB and some a woolly adelgid that is devastating the Great Smokey Mountains hemlocks.
