Default Cleaning curtains

An occasional water leak during winter storage has stained some of our interior curtains. They have a small degree of mildew/mold on them. What is your suggestion(s) for cleaning them? I tried washing them with Clorox 2 in an energy efficient top loading washing machine but that did little to help. I want to keep them nice and new looking. Any suggestions would be great. Ours is a 2007 - 3023 and they are made of a heavy canvas type material in a medium to dark beige color
Thanks very much.

i ask the dw who works with alot of vintage linens, she suggested soaking them overnight in oxi clean, then rewashing, she said she has good luck with vintage tablecloths doing them this way, hope it helps.

Some other suggestions here.

Whatever you try, suggest a test for colorfastness first.
