Consider a stand-alone screen tent. Less expensive & easier to put up/take down. Good luck.

The spare screen room shown on PPL's site will not work. It uses the support arms that attach to the side of the camper or can go to the ground.

Don't the add-a-rooms attach somehow to the awning? If so, I don't think adding that any extra weight to the structure is a good idea. The thing is not that strong in the first place. NYJeff's suggestion of a free standing screen room makes much more sense to me. By the way, we had an add-a-room which attached to the awning of our Starcraft pop up trailer. It was such a massive pain the only time it was used was when the dealer set it up to show us how it worked...

Default Fiamma screen room

Try this link. It looks great not sure if its available for the model you have. We have a 3124 KS, I'm not sure the awning model is the same for all TM's

I purchased an add-a-room from http://www.fiammausa.com/ for our 3023 TM. You can also get them at http://www.pplmotorhomes.com/parts/r...add-a-room.htm

We purchased a screen room from Fiamma in 2004 and use it for extended stays . . . of a week or more. The extra space is a nice addition/extension of our living area. It looks like Fiamma has changed the design of the screen room.

Default Screen room/add a room or tent?

It may sound silly for me to say this, but a large tent with big windows is more practical than a screen room or add a room. I have a 10' x 14' tent 8' high. I go out the door of my 3326 and almost right into the tent. Increases living space two fold. It has large screen windows all around which are easily closed for privacy. Easier to set up, don't have to worry as much about wind or rain, is more livable and durable. Besides, the add a rooms or screen rooms are too expensive for what you get! This large tent was used and cost me $70. When I long term camp, I wouldn't leave without it!

What about something like http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/cb.aspx?a=440496 or http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/cb.aspx?a=418289 ?

Seems like one of these would be cheaper than the Fiamma room, serve the same purpose, and be less likely to damage the awning in wind or rain. I too, was looking at the Fiamma add-a-room, but many people cautioned against leaving the awning open if you are leaving for the day, in the event of winds or a lot of rain, which could damage the awning. Many recommended a standalone tent. But, these are angled just like the add-a-room and can be placed right against the TM, and even have an opening in the back for the doorway into the TM.

Any thoughts? I don't own one (I don't even own a TM...yet!) but they do look like they'd fit the bill with less cost and less risk?
