Default A sad day, I just traded my Trailmanor

Hi all,
Yesterday, I left my 2005 Trailmanor 3124KB off at the dealer for a trade on a new travel trailer. We put over 20,000 miles on the TM over the years and we loved it! But, most of our long distance travelling days are behind us so we went for a little more sitting room and luxury. I just traded it in to avoid the hassle of selling it myself and I got $8,000 for it. Not as much as I would have liked but it was painless. I'll still visit this forum once in a while. This forum is outstanding! I did most of the mods recommended here and they were all great. I will miss the Trailmanor, wish I could keep both just in case we do take another long trip. So, unless the deal falls through today, I should be closing on the new trailer tomorrow. I thank you all again and wish you all good luck and happy camping!

Best wishes on your new trailer! We sure do love our TM and will be using ours for the next few years. BTW, if you don't mind sharing, what did you brand/model did you move to?

We will likely keep our TM when we buy a larger trailer when we retire. The TM is already 7 years old. In another 6 years or so there will not be much residual value. We will keep it for going places the bigger trailer can not go.

I bought a 35 foot Bullet Premier model 31BHPR. It has 2 slides and pretty much all we should ever need. It's hard to call this one a camper! More like a motel on wheels but, thats actually why we did this. I spend 3 to 4 weeks at a time at some places (shooting in the national rifle matches in Ohio at least once a year). I'll post pictures after I pick it up. I wish I could have kept them both. I would prefer to take the Trailmanor on any longer trips, such as our cross country trips the last 3 years. If I could afford it and if I had room to store 2 trailers...... I really will miss the TM.

Hopefully the new owners of the 2005 TM you traded will find us and put another 20,000 miles on her.

I hope they do find the forum. I will be leaving a notebook with all kinds of notes and manuals, most downloaded from this forum. I'll make sure I write the link down in the notebook.

If anybody is interested in a good used Trailmanor, this might be the one to get. Was it that North Ohio Trailmanor dealer? (Forget the name ...)

Bruce, if you are talking about my 3124, I am in Chesapeake, VA and left it at American Family RV on Battlefield Blvd in Chesapeake, VA. I don't sign the paperwork till tomorrow but I traded it for $8k.

Congrats on the new hotel. LOL Sounds VERY nice, you'll miss the TM when towing, but you won't miss it once you get setup! At least that was our experience going from a 2619 to the Elk. Best to you and stop back in once in a while!
