I looked at the picture on the Trailmanor website.

I think the rear window stone guard was an option on my camper, but the front was standard.

That, in fact, is the correct procedure. Unfortunately, it's only possible on the king bed if someone holds it up while the other crawls out. If you're in the TM by yourself, you'll never make it.

I've posted some past information on this, but the summary is: always, always, always first try to exit out the door. Even if you have to wrap yourself in blankets and run through the fire. The "bed exit" is there because it has to be by regulation, not because it's a good alternative. Also, be very careful about attempting to "practice" the bed exit on the king bed. You're probably going to break the bed out of the support tracks and damage the bed tray.

They started making the front window an option with model years 2009.5-2010 at least that is what a dealer rep at the Hershey show told me at the time.

Our 2922 KS has both front and back windows....and the stone guard was an option for the front window only. This is because the back window IS the emergency exit, and a stone guard would defeat the purpose! It is our understanding that the "lifting of the bed solution" was for older models in which the rear window was not an egress window.

Both windows open with a crank.

How do you get out of the jalousie window? Dose the frame pop open? If so, I wish mine had that. I have to pull the bed up.

My whole window can pop out/ up for exit. Still cranks for ventilation
