Default Removal of 2720SL Bathroom Cabinet

Has anyone ever removed the bathroom cabinet? Either in a 2720SL or any other TM model? How difficult is it? I've got a broken basin drain pipe and it would take the arms and hands of a spider monkey to work in there.

If you can get a hand in enough to unscrew the drain pipe, it is possible to remove the basin itself. There are several clips underneath holding the basin down. These were a little challenging to reach as well, so I elected not to re-install the clips when finished. I figured the basin isn't going anywhere of much consequence.

Oh, and sorry, I forgot you have to disconnect the two water lines then the retainer rings for the faucets as well, another contortion act.

Thanks Oldstick for the info. But that's the whole problem. I can't get enough of me into the cabinet to do all of that. I'm thinking that the cabinet can be removed in order to access the plumbing. I don't want to tear it up as I will want to put it back in when finished.

I understand, it was like pulling teeth. However the cabinet is attached to the sink basin and water lines, and the basin attached to the drain pipe, etc, etc. So even if the cabinet can be removed, you would have to disconnect all that first.

When I did it, I was able to reach my left arm in far enough to disconnect the drain line then way back to disconnect the two water lines. Those are all plastic fittings so theoretically they are only on there hand tight and intended to be removed/replaced without using tools. (In theory that is...

If I recall, the clips holding the basin each had a phillips screw facing downward so I was able to use a long screw driver and reach up to those. It took some blind groping to get the tip in place for the back-side clips.

Anyway, by removing the basin it gave me enough visibility and access to fix an elbow in a water line that was leaking.

When I replaced my bathroom faucet, I took numerous pictures with my phone, and even took a slow video of the bottom of the counter top from below. I then had a better idea of where and how bad the space was.
