Default Refrigerator-12 volt operation in transit-

I have a 2009 Ford 150 and my brother has a 2008 E350 passenger van. We discovered that both were shipped from the factory without the necessary fuses and relay to operate the trailer battery charge circuit.

Both items are available from dealer. Dealer said they use to ship these in bag in glove compartment.

Go to owners manual and look for fuses. There may be an inside and under hood fuse block or both. Both the missing fuses and relay were labeled "trailer battery charging".
