Scrub Jay, sorry to have missed an opportunity to meet you in person. We did wonder if it was you that waved to us as we were leaving Bryce and saw a TM family going the other way. We went to Grand Canyon NP, and are now in Zion NP. The fridge is working great here on shore power, cold enough to keep frozen veggies rock hard. I did discover that the main breaker was off for some reason. Soon as I flipped that to the on position, fridge went cold and stayed col. Temps here in the mid 90's. Question is, would having the main breaker off keep the fridge from cooling when on propane? Doesn't seem likely to me. Haven't yet tried to run on propane here at lower altitude yet. Nice thing is that now I know that it works on shore power, Im confident that the coolant loop is good. Sound logic?

That wasn't us, we had the TM at Navajo Lk and drove over for the day. Since there are no electronics on the Norcold breaker being off should have no affect.

Ours is still a bit fumy at times but not as bad. I have made a clean out a part of the setup when we change CG's. That has the reefer temps where they should be for the settings we normally have used in the past.
