Help with replacing tail lights
http://www.rvsuppliesoutlet.com/artifact/2778183/
I ordered a Lumitronics LUM-STN1R Stop/Turn/Tail Light.
The new tail light only has one bulb, two filament, and besides the ground wire, a black wire and a green wire.
Problem is, we have four wires coming out of the trailer, ground, yellow (attached to single filament bulb) and black and green (attached to a separate two filament bulb).
So what am I supposed to do? Put the black and green together with the black one? And then the yellow one to the green one? Is this even going to work for us?

It does sound like you have ordered the incorrect version. Either that or they sent you the wrong model. My tail lights have two separate bulbs. The upper (single filament) is the backup light and that is connected with the yellow wire. The lower bulb (double filament) is the combination tail and brake bulb, connected green to green and black to brown.
What does the wiring for the other tail light look like?
This is the tail light on my unit: http://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Ligh...30-92-002.html

Thinking about this...
I'll have to go out in the morning and make sure, but it sounds like I can just cap off the yellow wire and connect the other wires.
Thanks!

Sounds like your new light assemblies have no reverse lamps. Either figure out which wire provides voltage to the reverse lamps and tape/cap it off, or get the correct lights with reverse lamps (recommended).
PS- Does anyone know the regulation on what trailers need reverse lamps and which don't?

According to the California DMV website, no backup lights are required. Just running lights, stop, brake, and a license plate light.
Ours never worked before so we won't miss them. I didn't even think that we had them. The housing of the lights I bought has an extra slot above the double filament bulb so apparently that can be used as a slot for the backup bulb. The one with the license plate holder that I'm going to remove has an extra bulb and fitting in it that will fit into the new housing so I'm thinking that I'll take it off the old one and put it on the new one and see if it works.

The typical TV 7-pin Bargman connector uses the center pin for the backup light connection on the standard trailer tail light. In order for that to work the tail light lens must have a clear window in front of the upper, single filament bulb. Some TV Bargman connector installers do not connect the center pin to the tow vehicle backup lights, although that is an easy process. And some do not connect the 12 volt battery charge line.
Although travel trailer backup lights are not required in most states, they are nice to have when backing into a site after dark.
