Border crossing
I've read posts talking about the curious wanting to see your Tm.
While travelling in Europe in our Winabego we had many curious experiences as there just weren't any motor homes in Europe.
One that really stands out was when we were crossing the border into Holland. There were 5 or 6 lanes where border patrol had to check out your passports etc. They routinely checked for cigarettes and alcohol as they are highly restricted for import into Holland. These inspection stations were set up like tool booths on a highway. When we pulled up to one of the booths, the guard got out of the booth and asked it we had any cigarettes or alcohol to declare , we told him no. He said he'd have to check to be sure. As he entered the camper all the other inspectors closed their booths and they all came in the front door. They took turns opening and looking in every cabinet and were constantly talking that they had never seen such a thing before! Then they exited the rear door and motioned us to go on. It was a totally different type camper than any they had seen before.
