Dinette to a bed in 2720

I'm curious. I've not checked my manual because my TM is parked in storage. How hard is it to convert the dinette into a bed? My 16 yr old doesn't love sharing a 48 inch bed with her 11 yr old sister. Has anyone attempted this?

If you're talking about the dinette in the standard 2720 (two bed model) it is pretty easy but depends on how comfortable you want to be. To convert the dinette you just fold it down flat (with the leaf installed) and then just put the dinette cushons on the table...Put some sheets or a sleeping bag and you're done. If the cushons aren't comfortable enough then you'll have to come up with some other solution such as a foam topper or an air pad.

Also, under the table there should be a 2nd, shorter leg to use when using it as a bed. Make sure you put that down to support the end.

First time it can be tricky folding down the table and doing the legs. After that it takes about a minutes.

I suspect a folding cot could be laid across the back with a foam mattress. Not very wide but 72" long. Issue would be getting down with someone in the lower bed.

Went to check on the camper yesterday--it's parked in storage. Everything was great with it. We just had a lot of rain and no evidence of leaks. And no mice--yay!

It wasn't hard at all to convert the dinette to a bed. The cushions fit really snug, so it's actually pretty comfy--for a child, anyway. My teenager will be happy to have her own bed next time.
