Default Dinette bed

Hello,

This is my first post. I am a new owner of a used TM and just got it home around 0100 this morning, then spent a few hours setting it up later this morning.

I've got lots of questions and will post later about my experience of buying "The Beast," which might be useful for prospective buyers, but right now, can anyone explain to me how to make the dinette into a bed?

This may seem like a no brainer, but I don't want to break anything, and I haven't been able to find instructions for this elsewhere on the forum.

Many thanks!

thorny

On my 2720 there were no dinette instructions either. IIRC you need to lift the outer edge of the table to free it from the high hook location and then you can lower it into the lower hook position

Thanks for responding M&M. When I read your reply I didn't get it, but when I picked up the end of the table to look underneath it kind of fell down almost into place by itself.

This TM lived in a humid coastal area for the past 8 years. The underside of that table is gross! All the bare metal surfaces are rusted. Glad I'm up to date on my tetanus shot!

TYhornyrose -

Since you are a Sponsor, you might add your TM year/model and your tow vehicle year/model, to your signature line - just below the Tolkien quote! As you will see from browsing, many of us have done it, and it helps a lot with solving problems.
