Rancho Sedona RV Park
I would like to recommend the Rancho Sedona RV park in Sedona AZ. Wife and I stayed there for 10 consective days for our recent winter camping adventure. Excellent location and almost walking distance to upper the Sedona shopping district and a beautiful location with Oak Creek flowing adjacent to the campground. Pleasant experience all around. Full hook-ups, some pull throughs, but most are back in for all types and lengths of units. Free Wifi and coin operated laundry on site. Staff was very accomodating and we will return for another visit some time in the future.

Next time you go, try to reserve one of the "Honeymoon sites". Just a little nicer!

honeymoon sweet
On the Blue Ridge Parkway at Doughton Park CG one site is called the honeymoon sweet, more isolated than the others. Another site is called the telephone booth 'cause its the only spot cell phones work

At Rancho Sedona, there are two sites that are set off from the others, a bit bigger and more treed. Although they are nearer the entrance, so there is more traffic going past, they are nicer sites, and are often reserved first.

yes, I remember those two sites. On the street side coming in. I had 3 sites while in the park for 10 days. I kept extending my stay and the site that I was in had a reservation, so I ended moving twice. Was able to keep the TM up and then I hitched to the truck and pulled out and back in to another site, 3-4 sites away from the one I was occupying. Seemed strange to do, but I went very slow and all went well.
