Default Privacy curtain for 2720SL living room area

I used a tension rod and lightweight curtains to create a moveable/removeable privacy screen for the front living room. We frequently have someone sleeping on the sofa bed and this setup provides privacy for dressing, sleeping, or watching TV in the living area.

There are 4 curtain panels so they can be arranged in different configurations such as 2 on each side to open in the middle, or all or some panels to one side. This also lets us accommodate air flow from the furnace or AC while still providing some privacy.

I added shelves on each side of the living area that are interchangeable. We can set up the TV on either side of the living room, depending on where we want to put the chair. When using the furnace, we put the chair on the street side. Most of the time we prefer the chair on the curb side - this allows us to use an extra shelf we added to give us more kitchen counter space.

The tension rod is very lightweight and stows on the on the sofa for travel. The curtains stow in a wicker storage ottoman along with the TV cable and screen door.

That is great looking and a wonderful solution for adding privacy!

I like it. Can you post a pic showing the refrigerator door? I want to see what that is. Thanks.

Hi Countrygirl,

Here is a pic of the fridge door. It's "stick on" wall art from Hobby Lobby. They come with several coordinated pictures in each package. It goes on like contac paper but is made to lift off and reuse or reposition. It sticks enough to hold on but is easy to remove. Although it won't stick to the wallpaper or aluminum walls, it likes the woodgrain surfaces. I have its mate on the bathroom door.

I also have coffee pictures on my wardrobe, kitchen side. I like my walls decorated, and I love coffee!
