We stayed in Henderson State Park in Destin last October. Cleanest Nicest park we have ever stayed in. Pea gravel sites that they rake for you. Great roads that they blow clean everyday. Great clean bathhouses in campground and on the beach!! Wonderful shaded walkway to the beach. Right of highway. Walmart and shopping center just outside entrance. Outstanding restaurants close by, fish market also nearby. And if course the fine sugar sand beaches and blue water. Start reservations EARLY!!

I'm bumping this thread hoping to get some lowdown on camping in the Kissimmee area. The kicker is we need to be able to get reservations for next weekend. I know that probably eliminates any of the state parks, which we would prefer.

We don't have to be really close to town, we aren't going to Disney or anything like that, just visiting someone, but we would prefer something with more spacious sites, assuming they allow us to park our lowly TM amongst all the giant RVs.

Do you have the "Park Advisor" app? It can be a great tool, even if only to find a dump station.
