Cover For 3124KS
I am looking to buy a cover. I measured my "box" and it seems to be just under 21 feet?
If I order the 22.5 foot version of the following product, will it cover my 3124 with the A/C unit?

Thanks for any info!

This topic comes up every couple months. If you do a Search on "Adco", you will find a lot of threads on the topic, and on measuring to fit. Part of it depends on whether you want to cover the open TM, or the closed TM.
Start here, but there are others.

That's the one I'm planning to buy for my 3124KB. It should fit.

I would check out

I was not at all happy with my ADCO cover. The Tyvek did not stand up well and at the end of 3 years it looked like it had gone thru a shredder. About half that time was spent in full sun and the last half it was under a covered 3 sided shed.
This time I bought a cover from the folks above. For my 2720 I got the 16 - 18 foot Goldline model. About $185. It was plenty wide to go over the awning which makes the width measurement about 96" and, as you can see from the pix, it completely covers the rear and comes over the front covering most of the propane tanks and the electric jack. The big plus for me was no more of that huge quantity of material in the front end to deal with. I always hated messing around with the bundling and fooling around to get it looking half right. This goes up so much faster and much less painfully. It doesn't come down the sides as far as the ADCO did but it suits me.

I like that cover. I actually ordered the 22.5 version of the ADCO early last week. It should be here soon and I will post my thoughts once I can play with it.

The measruements for the 20-22' version (needed for a 3124) says it is only 90" wide. My 3124KB measures almost 98" - with the awning and a Carefree fo Colorado awning over the driver side window. Even without that, it would still measure 94-95" - still too much for the Goldline model.
I'll probably go with the Adco Hi-Lo model.

With the awning, my 2720 measures 96" wide but because of the extra length in the cover, I figured it would work out. It did. I figured I'd send it back if it didn't work out and I hated the ADCO so much that I took the chance. What worked out for me may not for you. Since the only way to get one to fit is to have it custom made, which ADCO will do, but I wasn't about to pay the price. Especially given the poor lifetime of the first one.

Re the 90-inch cover width vs the 98-inch TM width. All that it means is that the corner seams on the cover won't fall on the corners of the TM. But as long as the fore-and-aft measurement of the cover is 16 inches longer than the TM body, then the cover will still fit fine.
What you want to avoid is having a cover that is substantially bigger than the TM. The extra material is hard to tie down, and if it billows and the wind catches it, it will wear holes in the material in short order. I can't speak directly about the 3124, but I seem to recall that the HiLo cover would have fallen into this way-too-big category for my 2720SL.

I think the pics of mine show the corners pretty good and support what Bill says. That the extra material of the ADCO "billows and is hard to tie down" was the killer for me.

I have a 3326 and have the Adco cover. I've had it for 5 years now. The first year I have some wear holes where it went over the bumper and the front corners. After that I got some large styrofoam pieces that came with a large appliance and places them over the corners and have had no more problems with wear. I believe I got the idea from a suggestion on the forum.
