Default Leak at fresh water inlet hose

Hi all,
We are filling/ flushing/ sanitizing our fresh water tank for the first time since we got our 2004 -2619 model last year. We haven't needed it till now. So we are doing this at home since last trip we found a leak that happened over the winter in the water system away from home.

So as we are checking for leaks we have some splits at the ends of the water inlet hose where it is clamped. The hose I am sure is original, so that makes it 15 years old.
I read the thread I found discussing this, and I think I would prefer to replace the hose with a new one that isn't so irregular and can be clamped properly.

Any suggestions on what I should get?
Thanks in advance.
Dawn

I think this is the correct version/diameter of hose that’s on my TM. I would say 3 feet is more than enough for you.
