trash can?
If anyone has any ingenious solutions to the need for a trash can, I'd love to hear about it. We are planning our first trip in a few weeks, and it hit me today--I haven't given much thought to trash disposal. When we tent camped, this was always a big pain. How do y'all handle this?

My wife set up a pop up mesh laundry hamper with a trash bag in it. Folds down flat when not in use and is super light. The liner bags we are using now aren't a perfect fit, but she plans to use small binder clips (office supplies) to hold the bag in place.

We use one of these Camco Pop-a-Bag hangers. it just uses plastic grocery bags, which are always available.

We have a small trash can that is designed to use the plastic grocery bags. There is a ring that snaps on around the top to hold the bags. Ends up being about one day of trash for us. Very nice for areas that you don't want trash hanging around at night.

Unless you are in Austin Texas...they have banned the plastic grocery bags here....so, we bought a small stainless foot pedal pop top garbage can from B B & B that uses the small draw string garbage bags. Having a top on the can keeps the garbage smell out of the trailer and the can itself tucks up neatly against the cabinet end. It's a handy spot and doesn't get in the way of the slide when pushed in. So...got a garbage problem? ...get a garbage can!
