Please be aware of towing limits:

freshwater: 20 gallons = 167 lbs
Thetford: 3 gallons to charge = 25 lbs

This may not include drinking water.

The dry weight of the 2720 is about 2800 lbs or so, and the TM axle limit is 3500 lbs. Some of the weight will be transfered to the TV, however.

More importantly, keep in mind the combined weight limit for your vehicle. Stuff adds up fast! It's very easy to fill all the spaces of the trailer and TV with stuff you think you want.

In BC, the government allowed us to weigh our TV and trailer at no charge in Kamloops. With 5 people my rear axle was over limit and the T M was at the limit. My freshwater tank was empty.

Remember to move the air vent from the regular fill area to the floor, it is a clear plastic tube, it will fit thru the floor holes for drains if you look, this will then spit just before it is full. Makes a gurgling sound when close to full, keeps splashing outside, no new tubing needed either. Good luck if you do the mod, best and easiest thing I have done.

Most of the time we travel with the fresh water tank empty, but with the hot water tank full. We just like to travel light.

We use the fill mod that Trailmanor Man brought to our attention when we arive at the camp ground.

We do make an exception for short trips normally less than 100 miles
