Default Dear 2619... It could be LOVE...

Background: I love camping. I grew up in interior Alaska and crave the outdoors. My husband never went as a child, but I think he would have loved it as much as I did. Now we have two young children and I want them to experience the great outdoors...

Plus, we are a military family, so our family is all over the country and airline travel for four people is significantly less appealing to me than hooking up a camper and going cross-country.

SO! I have searched and searched for camper trailers that are low weight, safe for my family (pop up tent trailers just won't cut it for me - I need those hard sides!) and with enough beds to fit us all (a family of four with the potential to grow). Over a year of searching, and...

Today I stumbled upon the TrailManor... Mind. Blown. It is just pure genius.

Before I devote my life and become a forever TM super-fan, I need to see one in person. I am really liking the layout of the 2619. Are there any owners near Fort Hood, TX that would allow me to see their TM in all its glory?

Thanks in advance,

Tara

PS this forum is awesome.

Welcome! It was this forum that convinced me to get a TM. If anything ever needs fixing, there's some one here who knows how. That's a big plus in my mind.

I'd say, if you can pull one, look for a 2720. There's more storage, more options to choose from, and more used ones out there.

Thanks Larryjb! I'm not opposed to the 2720 if it's the layout with two beds and dinette... I'd be interested in any model that has two beds and a dinette for that matter!

PPL Motor Homes has one in Cleburne and two in Houston, according to RVTrader.com . Craigslist shows one in San Antonio and one in Cedar Hill. Be careful with Craigslist. If you can't physically inspect it, it's some Russian guy scamming you.

Default Are you still looking?

Tara,

I wanted to follow-up on this thread to see if you found anything yet? We are looking to sell ours, but it's in Colorado Springs (outside Fort Carson).

Tara,
My wife and I have a 2005 2619 and live in Mountain City just 5 miles south of Austin. If you ever get down our way, we would be happy to show you.

Default Selling 2013 2922KD

Sadly, we are selling our beloved Trailmanor. We have retired and moved to the wilderness, so now we go to town for a break! We have maintained and protected the TM carefully. No smoking. New tires and battery. Everything works. It is currently near Austin, Tx. Let us know if you would like to see it. There is room between the dinette and kitchen for an air mattress or cot. The king memory foam mattress is oversized and could sleep 3.

Default 2011 Trail Manor

Tara - I feel your excitment as we too searched carefully for our first trailmanor. We bouht our first one pre-owned (2005) and then a few years later we purchased this 2011 brand new. You will notice they are hard to find because they are so well made and people keep them for a very long time. We are now retiring and moving to a Super C model. Please take a look at our ad as well and feel free to contact me for picutres videos or any questions you may have. We would love to see this trailmanor go to a family that will love it as we have. - Linda

Hi Tara,

I have a 2004 3023 that might be for sale in the near future. I live about 15 miles north of Fredericksburg. If you think you might like to come see it, please let me know.

It has lived in a barn most of its life but was used fairly often. We even made a trip to Alaska in it. No issues other than a wheel that I failed to tighten lug nuts on came off. Very little damage and we were on our way again.

We loved it and babied it too.
