Default Winter Storage Damage!!

Took the TM out this weekend, first time since I drained it for the winter. Didn't fare well, despite the fact that I drained all the water out (or so I thought).

The kitchen sprayer hose cracked and a piece broke off where it attaches to the hose. Thus, no water would come through the faucet, but just through the hose.

Second, the faucet in the tub/shower was shooting water out under the H/C metal fixture. Took it apart and was dismayed to see that the H/C water is joined together by a cheap plastic tubing which the handheld shower attaches. It was split from end to end.

This morning, before leaving, I noticed water leaking outside, underneath where I think the tub is (there was water in the tub). It's a small black box-looking thing that sits right behind the outside drains for the water heater and fresh water. Not sure what that's about.

All in all I'm very disappointed. We did not, by any means, have a cold winter here in the Wash, DC area.

Not sure what to do now...it's still under the 1 year warranty, but I certainly can't take it all the way to the TN factory. Does TM tell me where to take it for a local repair shop to look at it? Do I call the factory first??

Also, I was a bit afraid of the propane water heater this time. When I started it up (yes I filled the water heater up first), I noticed that the small pilot wasn't burning when I turned it on from the inside. Instead, it was just the big flame that warms the water. So, I just relied on electric. Shouldn't that small pilot flame always be burning?

FINALLY...I was so rattled by all this, that I actually locked myself OUT of the trailer, and had to push my arm up through the Velcro flap by the door, reach up and slide open the door window. Yes, you guessed it...I had to but the screen so I could reach in and unlock the door.

Anyway...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. This is a 2008 2720SL. Guess this winter I'll add an antifreeze type liquid through the system. BTW: the TM is stored in an outdoor RV storage facility, so it's exposed to wind and the elements.

Thanks all.
Randy
