Guys you are great. Some excellent suggestions. I have so much useless crap in those 3 drawers that I need to get in there and pitch a lot of it. My hoarder tendencies do not work in a trailer. As far as shell adjustments. I can get by until I get back to Florida. We will head to Michigan in mid summer for a couple months to see the other kids. On the way up, we will stop at the factory for an adjustment there. We have been there before and they are just off I75, Really great people and will do anything they can to help. That is one reason I would hate to not get another TM product. Service is everything and Eddie is fantastic.

Appreciate all suggestions. John

I got it new and have up graded it to be better than most trailers.Heated holding tanks, double windows except fire exit, rear hitch, new didgel tv ant.,back flush on black water tank, change to only one dump line, many other up grades. My heath is going bad and I may sell it .They can not make the Elkmont in the Tenn. plant because the roof is to low. They may in the future make them in the west sales office and plant.Call me if I can help. This is my fourth Trailmanor. Cell 336-675-1491.

In TM's last newsletter they indicate they are seriously considering coming out with an improved non folding trailer. Will be interesting to see what they do.

I went from the 2619 TM to the Elk. The only time I miss the folder is when we are towing. There is a pretty big difference. But we love the Elk, things are organized inside, we can drive longer if we want and have a fast setup when we stop for the night. More room inside, better toilet, bed is a LOT better, etc. If you're thinking about it, it's going to happen! LOL You'll be happier it sounds like. Everything is a trade off..........good luck.

Looks like the Elkmont is back, they are just calling it a TrailView now. One of the brilliant things about a TM is the modular approach: two backs (king and queen), three fronts (sofa, dinette, and bed) and different length center modules all with the same sink/lav/wardrobe area with differences in the length of the front-mid section. Even the Minis kept the same front/mid and replaced the rear bed with a deck.

Coupled with the torsion bar transformer approach even to slides it is really a marvelous approach to the engineering.

BTW if there is a URL for the rear storage area when open, I would appreciate it.
