Default Closed for the Season

I just put our 2027SL away for the season. Our garage is 8' 3" wide x 22'5 long. It faces an alley so I had to back in at an angle. With my wife guiding me I managed to get it in the garage and close the door. I am not great at backing up a trailer so I am pretty happy that it fit. With the money we saved not buying a trailer dolly or paying to store it we can take more trips next year.
I don't think there are any other trailers even close to this size that would fit.
We are having cocktails to celebrate!

Default A Great Feeling Indeed

We had our trailer in storage at a local KOA for $80/mo because we couldn't figure out how to get it in our driveway. Earlier this year when Custom RV returned the trailer from a warranty repair, Scott showed us how to back it in. I've gotten so proficient that I can do it by myself. Because it's an Elkmont we have 3 Dry-Z-Air units to keep the interior nice and dry and we have our little heater set so the interior temperature doesn't go below 50. All doors including the fridge are open.

Now that is what I call service from a dealership! Wish they were closer to me!

Ours is covered up now, we put the cover on after we couldn't go to the Pismo Rally (but it's nice and shiny clean ) under the cover. We also have a Dri-Z-Air in the trailer and it's already accumulated a bit of water in the receptacle.

Today we put a 16 lb turkey in the TM frig and hopefully it will defrost slowly until Wednesday, when we will put it into brine overnight.

We plan to go somewhere in January; we head south, where we can usually escape the rain at one week or another during that month. The first year we had the TM, we went to Death Valley. We've been to Sam's Family Spa in Desert Hot Springs and have also spent time in Pismo Beach, Carpinteria, Morro Bay, and also taken a few day trips to Joshua Tree. Southern California is a great place to camp during the winter. All the crowds are gone, and sometimes, with a bit of planning, you can catch some 70 degree days along the way.
