So while it gives me fits sometimes...

... after adding up the mileage and gas receipts for the year (just came from our last trip of the year today), and based on MPG numbers from people with the same tow vehicle but different trailers (full sized travel trailers, ~7-8 MPG compared to our ~15MPG), I've concluded that we saved somewhere in the neighborhood of $1000 in gas costs!

Makes me glad we didn't end up selling the trailer this spring like we originally wanted to! (we wanted a different trailer for ease of setup with our family, etc.) The more we save on gas the more camping we can do!

Woo hoo! That is a lot of campsite fees. We have talked about other campers, but for now the TM is perfect for our family.
