Bandy Creek, between Oneida and Jamestown TN
Bandy Creek is run by the NP service and is in the Big South Fork National River and RA. Take TN 297 out of Oneida, TN from US 27 or TN 154 from US 127 by Jamestown. TN 154 will take you to TN 297. If you like 180 degree hair pin turns on 13 % grade then come in from Oneida other wise come in from Jamestown. The CG has 4 loops with loops B,C, and D having water and electric at sites. All sites are level back ins with a few pull double sites. In this case two sites use the same pull thru. Showers, flush toilets and outside dishwashing sinks with hot water.
Things to do hiking, mtn biking, horse trails, and trails for horse/mule drawn wagons. White water rafting/kayaking/canoeing.
Trails are well marked and good maps available at the visitor center.
Bandy Creek won the IMBA, International Mountain Biking ASSC., Epic award for their bike trails. The ones I rode were moderately easy for an old man.
