Hunting Island State Park SC

I just made reservations here for 3 nights in March. They are almost sold out of sites with electricity and water. It looks very nice. Someone took the time on YouTube to video every campsite. You can see what site you are choosing. In my case , I took what was available. The campground joins the beach. Some sites are beachside. I always check out the campground on YouTube before making a reservation.

Very nice park, we were there once when we still had our pop-up camper.

But that was in June and the only sites available were the back area away from the beach. Summer, it was unmercifully hot back there with very little breeze from the ocean. We may try it again sometimes with the insulated TM.

There is a nice fishing pier a short drive from the campground also.

This park may get flooded out. It is just above sea level. I guess this island has weathered many storms.
