Where did you hear about TraiManor?

I was driving today, and was wondering where others learned about TrailManor?

I was looking for a hard-sided popup, but I could not find anything online. Not sure why TrailManors didn't show in my search results, but they didn't. Also, didn't find Aliners until after I got my TM.

But, we went to the local RV show in 2011, and walked right into the TM display of The Car Show. Didn't know they were there, but they were the first trailer we saw. Kate proceeded to open one, so we stopped to look. Glad we did!

What was your first awareness of TrailManor?

It definitely wasn't online for us...I think we saw one at the big Houston RV show...back in the good ole days when Houston had a dealership.

Had a Vixen RV but was dissatisfied with it. Always had the problem of "when you get there how do you get around". Since my racing days were past, need to pull a race car was over.

Decided what I needed was a trailer and one that my Jeep Grand Cherokee could pull. Knew about HiLo so looked for one on Craigslist and ran into TMs. As soon as I saw the specs & found the forum web site and lots of online information I started looking and a few months later I looked at a '99 3023 in Duneden but just did not feel right (mouse droppings that blew out of the AC didn't help). About a month later I came across this unit in Ocala.

May sound strange but the serial number was the same as the last 4 of a GFs phone number and just felt good. Price seemed right for an '06 so bought it. Came back the next weekend (was still working then) & pulled home with no problems.

Since then it resides on a 10x25 pad in "the enclave", a "natural" area in the back yard where it is protected on three sides and under a foliage canopy.

Was at a Popup times Rally in Townsend TN when a lady brought hers to the rally and parked across the street from me.
then a friend bought one when she wanted more room than her popup could give her.
we were looking for something economical to tow to FLA to winter in. Looked at Hilo first, but the weight scared my husband, then we settled on a TM.
I am now looking for a larger TT with slides since we now have a permanent site in FLA. The TM, though bigger 8s just not big enough. Hubby sets up his lap top and takes the whole eatting area. I also need upper storage, not something I have to set in place. I have arthritis in the spine, knees, hips, wrists shouldrrs and fingers so the set up, tear down and bending to get stuff out of cabinets is painful. Same reason I did not use unde seat storage in my Bantam or popups.

I found the Trailmanor when I went on a search for a new camper. I had tweaked one of my knees and wanted something newer and easier on my body.
The TM looked to fill all my wants and needs, so far it has been fun.

I started looking casually for a camper. For our family, tow vehicle, budget, I was thinking popup was where we would end up. In that pursuit, I saw a TM and have been pretty smitten with them. I am still looking and dont own one yet.........yet.

That's a good question. My ex-husband and I used to do quite a bit of camping, but that was tent camping. In Spring of 2014, I was thinking that I'd like to do some camping again on my own and in more comfort. I started looking at various small travel trailers and realized that I would either have to build a carport or pay for storage somewhere and I didn't like those options. Then, in one of my Internet searches, I found HiLo and thought that was a cool concept. I had a 3rd bay in my garage that it would fit in. Further research turned up TrailManor
...I think it was in an ad that advertised the TM as a "HiLo type" TT.

So, once I learned about the existence of TMs, I started searching online ads for them. In June 2014, I found a Trailer business in Oklahoma that was going to close its doors and they had one new 2013 2720SL on their lot that they needed to sell. I negotiated a deal on it and made the trek over there from New Mexico to pick it up. It's been a learning experience since then.

Funny that TrailManor wasn't easy to find. I just kinda stumbled over it.

In my prior job I was 'forced' to work sport shows in the off-season (I know rough huh). During one of my trips to Denver to work the Denver Boat and Travel show, I ran into the Car Show's display (so very similar to LoveToCamp's experience).

Growing up we had a mid-70s Apache hard side popup, and I knew I just had to find something similar. I'm still not sure why one of the major popup manufactures didn't pick up on Apache's design, as it was a simple idea, while being such an improvement over the canvas sides that are still in use.

So at that time the search was on, and I finally found the one I we ended up purchasing in Ohio. The seller had advertised on 3-4 online venues, so I started with the lowest advertised price and we worked from there. Met him half way in Council Bluff's Iowa. I've been doing modifications, enjoying this forum, and camping with my family ever since.

We had been happily using a Quicksilver Livin Lite 8.0 when we stopped at a roadside bike shop. The guy must have had a hundred bicycles on display in his yard for sale, and we stopped to buy one for my son. Anyway, he had a HiLo parked in his driveway, and my wife was fascinated by the idea of a collapsible trailer. She went online to look them, and found out how heavy the HiLo was, and walked away from the idea. A month later she excitedly showed me the Trailmanor online, and wanted one ever since. Four years later we bought our first new-to-us SL2720 from another member on this website, and I look at it, parked in my garage, each morning as I go to work, and look forward to the weekends!

I discovered that my wife is especially beautiful when she smiles because one of her dreams has come true!

We had a pop up Rockwood that we camped in from May until July of 2015. If you lived in the midwest last summer you will understand the torrential downpours we encountered. We were DONE packing up wet. We began TT shopping but I was concerned with the wind resistance and tow rating. I did a google search for tow rate of 3500 lbs and up pops this marvel of engineering. I was sold! We purchased our 1999 2619 shortly thereafter. We camped up until mid November. Just ran across a deal we could not pass up for a 2008 3023 last week so we upgraded.
