Pocahontas State Park - TrailManor Spotted There
Today, while scouting nearby Pocahontas State Park, we came across another TrailManor - a 2005 2720 (or was it 2619?) from Prince George County.
We introduced ourselves and had a delightful conversation with the young couple who own it. They have a Jeep six-cylinder, 4x4 tow vehicle and have had no problems taking the TrailManor where they wanted to go. They do a lot of dry camping, so have a solar array installed on to rear section. Said that on sunny days it is able to keep up with their electrical needs. This is their first visit to Pocahontas State Park; we haven't camped there yet - and it is nearby for all of us!
They use the forum, but haven't yet joined a TrailManor TrailBlazers chapter. Said they would probably join, now that they had met us and we remarked how much we enjoyed belonging to our chapter and joining other chapters at rallies.
Pocohontas State Park is very nice with lots of pull-through sites. No sewer service, but most sites are near public bath houses. Dump station is available at entrance. We are looking forward to spending some time there, soon.
Happy Camping!
