Default Report spammer here

In accordance with Dave (Shrimp Burrito)'s very good suggestion, let's use this thread to report new spammers. I'll check it every time I log on, delete the spam and ban the spammer, and then erase the alert post to keep the thread manageable. Sound good?

Bill

Sounds like a great idea, but I haven't seen much spam this past week, so something must be working right. Thanks.

MM -

The spam count is down because Chris is working on the front end of the system. And when something does get through, I'm shoveling like mad behind that elephant! I've worked out a pretty good procedure for catching them early.

We both appreciate your comment.

Bill

All,
I have made some changes overall, and upgraded...again, to the most current version. We should see a decrease.

I do not do the daily upgrade thing unless I see a reason. I review every upgrade, and determine if we need to upgrade or not. The add on's that we run on the board aren't always updated in a timely fashion, so sometimes, unless we absolutely need to, I'll hold off on an upgrade.

I know some of you have better ideas, and would do things differently, but I've been in computers since I was 9, in 1976. I have a methodology for our board that I hope works well for all of you, but if it doesn't, let me know and I'll refund your membership price, and we can part as friends instead of people getting upset.

Thanks.
Ct..

Yes, indeed. Thanks very much for maintaining the board and keeping the vicious spammers at bay!
