2014 2922kd
We picked our new 2922KD Saturday. You may recall that our 2013 2922KD suffered hail damage. It was cosmetic only, but we decided to go with a new trailer since the insurance claim was filed.
There are some differences from 2013 to 2014.
The exclusive "Rocky Mountain Edition" decals.
A heavier duty axel.
Heavier duty frame.
A different door storage "catch" with a magnetic holder for the smaller the smaller side piece.
A different solar panel controller--Not the Samlex as before, but still a four stage charging system with equalization.
Thetford cassette toilet instead of the Thetford recirculating toilet-this is an option, and it swivels!
A much improved owners manual--still not as detailed or as slick as the Coleman manuals, but a lot better than last years. More detail and color photos.
I had thought that a 40 gallon water tank was available..but was told trials did not balance well. Since I have had significant sway issues with the 20 gallon tank empty, I can see that a 40 gallon tank farther back full of water would really upset the fore/aft weight distribution.
We will know more come spring and our first chance to camp, but it shows that Trailmanor listens to feedback from owners and are always looking for ways to improve their products.
And as always, first class service from The Car Show in Colorado Springs. How nice to do business with these folks.

Congrats. Enjoy. I'd like to see pics of any new fabrics, bedding, upholstery, flooring, etc.

Rvcycleguy,
It is put away now, but that did not change from 2013. The Trailmanor web site should show you the interior. The wood is cherry now instead of oak and there is a square pattern on the linoleum. If I open it before spring, I will take some shots.

Thanks Mark. I have always enjoyed real life owner pics as opposed to TM website images. I find website images to be airbrushed, color enhanced, and extraordinary edited views. I much prefer to see what owners have done to enhance, decorate, organize their home away from homes. Like yours, mine is also packed away in storage till our spring trip. Although, DW has been asking if we are heading out for annual Xmas/New years trip this year? Sedona AZ 3 years ago, Santa Fe NM 2 years ago, and Big Bend National Park a year ago.
Take care and enjoy.

Thanks Hillbilly.
DW Is on the way home this afternoon from her teacher job and I've already researched Santa Rosa Beach outside of Destin, Panhandle FL. I can just squeeze in due to availability for 8 days, 12/22-12/30, if we go make a decision ASAP.

Rvcycleguy,
I just realized you can get on The Car Show website and they have very good photos of what the interior looks like. They are pretty accurate as far as relating to mine.
I just realized two more improvements over the 2013. There is a 12 volt outlet next to the sink counter ( my old one did not have that) and there is a new double light fixture over the dinette table near the front. That was a bit of a dark spot. Now that winter has seriously hit us, it will be a while before we can get into the new trailer to see what other little improvements there are.

Thanks for the update Mark. We thought we were done camping this year, but as mentioned the other day, we went ahead and booked Topsail State Park in the NW panhandle of Florida, Dec 21 to New Years. Hope the weather cooperates and stays dry to some extent. We can do cold, but not wet and cold. We carry our motorcycle with us for field trips away from our TM base camp.
