Suggestions for Western Ohio/Easterm WV

Will be traveling East this summer looking for suggestions in Ohio (Cincinatti/Columbus) area or Western WV. Final distination is Wheeling WV. Trying to avoid private KOA type campgrounds.

Check out the state parks near Princeton, WV. Just go to mapquest and type in Princeton, WV and then click on places near. Add in Camping. You should see on the map places to camp. One place would be Pipstem Restore.

Hocking Hills area is one of my favorites if you like hiking and waterfalls. Checked out the link for SP in Ohio.

Yes, we stop at a couple of Ohio State Parks on our way back and forth to Florida, and find them pretty nice.

And there's also some good National Forest Campgrounds in the area: the Iron Ridge Campground of Wayne National Forest was nice.
