Keys
We picked up our new-to-us 2014 2922KB this past weekend and now that it is in my driveway, I'm of course discovering things about it. The exterior storage compartment in the rear is unlocked and has no key. At least I can get in it. The outside shower door is locked and also has no key, so I don't have access. The only keys I have are for the entry door. Are these compartments keyed alike? Are TM's all keyed alike? If so a generous soul could maybe mail me a key(s), which I would gladly pay for. Before calling TM about this, I thought I'd ask here for ideas about how to get keys. Thanks!

Not only are all the compartments keyed alike on YOUR TrailMamor, they are keyed the same as not just ALL TrailManors but they are the same key as almost ALL campers regardless of the brand. It’s called a 751 key and you can get them online or most RV dealers. Better yet, find a different lock with its own key.

Perfect. That's why I came here first. $6.64 for 2 keys on Amazon. Thanks!

It isn't just RVs that use the CH 751 key. It amazes me how many different places that key shows up. I have a number of cabinets in my colo that are keyed to the CH751 key. (have one on my key ring right now).

Almost perfect
The CH751 keys showed up and open the rear storage compartment door, but not the outside shower door. That key doesn't even fit into the tumbler. So, I'm on the search for key to the outside shower that is unique from the door and hatch keys. Any ideas?

Sure. Query the maker of the outside shower.

Yeah, that's next if no ideas here. In the meantime, I learned from other forums that there is a combination of this shower unit with CH591 keys and others with an unmarked key. Worst case, I'll drill out the tumbler.

Sonja to the rescue
I emailed Sonja in parts at TM and she's adding the key to an order I placed last week. I may not ever use the exterior shower, but I can't stand the idea of being locked out of it. Not to mention winterizing.

I feel like a previous owner must have changed out the lock on the exterior shower for some reason. I can't imagine Trailmanor using two different locks for the exterior compartments, thereby having to provide two different keys. My exterior compartment and the shower compartment are the same, and I haven't heard of anyone here on the forum having two different keys. Perhaps the door cracked, or something, and they replaced it with a new door which was keyed differently? I imagine it's a generic size/shape for that exterior shower access door, across many trailer manufacturers - although I could certainly be wrong...

Anything is possible, but I am pretty sure this is the stock lock. I did some research and found this same shower door key issue on 2 other RV forums. Same discussion pretty much. Here is the shower unit from ITC. You can see the key in one of the photos.

Plus Sonja knew what I was referring to, that this wasn't a 751 key.
