Upper nylon door latch - problems??

As Al-n-Sue pointed out, you will probably have much better luck looking for them at a pop-up dealer than at an upright camper dealer. After much searching, including several upright RV dealers and Camping World, I learned that they are called "screen pegs" because they hold the screen panels in place in a pop-up. Apparently they find little use in an upright RV, and so these dealers tend not to carry them. Not to say that you won't find them - Mike Laupp had success - but it may be discouraging.

As JHill suggested, I also found that hardware stores and big box stores seem to have no idea what they are.

Update:
This thread reminded me that I had used the last 2 spare latches on my 2003 so I went back to the dealer to stock up again. I asked for the source and was told that they get them from TrailManor in gross quantities. The dealer carries 2 different sizes, one for a TrailManor and the other for a Flagstaff Pop Up. They are not interchangeable. So the best source is going to be the either the TM factory or a TM dealer who stocks TM parts. The dealer had them labeled as "Roof turnbuckle".

Like Bill, I searched the net using several different phrases. None were successful.
