Default Huntington Beach State Park SC Dog Friendly

Anybody visited this park near Myrtle Beach. I read that dogs are actually allowed on the beach. Not many places allow this. We wouldn't have to leave our pets behind when visiting the beach. Also it is just down the street from some of the worlds best seafood in Murrells Inlet.

This is one our favorite parks anywhere. But at prime times of the year, you have to get reservations WAY in advance. However, if you keep checking at reserveamerica.com you can sometimes come up with a late cancellation.

Yes, dogs are allowed on the beach on leash, as long as you pick up after them. And they are allowed in the campground.

"Pets : Huntington Beach State Park is a dog friendly park year round. Please keep in mind that all dogs must remain on a leash no longer than six feet at all times. Please clean up after your pet. Dogs are allowed on the south end of the beach.
