Just a note, they do not need your title to total it if you buy it back. At least in Florida if the insurance company gets the title, it may be changed to "salvage" and make it hard or impossible to resell.

hard to resell, but if another couple years are enjoyed, and all that money was put back in the pocket, the TM could be donated to someone looking to get into camping / TMs and then a new trailer could be acquired (as an option).

We just had a bad hail storm around Quantico in February 2017. Sure enough, my 2009 3023 was considered a total loss. The estimated value was $13,600 but Trailmanor quoted $12,800 to repair. The only damage is cosmetic, it didn't even damage the vent or A/C covers. I am buying it back for $3900, so I'm getting $9600 and keeping the camper. In VA, when the camper value is under $15000 and the damage is only cosmetic, your title status doesn't change if it is totaled. So we'll use it for a couple more years and sell it when we're ready to upgrade.
