Question Gray tank gauge???

I just read a post about someone trying to determine the accuracy of the gray tank gauge. I didn't know there was one. Can someone tell me where to find it? Whether accurate or not, at least it would give me some idea as to how full it is as opposed to guessing. I have a 2008 2720sl. Thanks.

There is a small panel under the kitchen sink. The system test button will show the status of your fresh water tank and your gray water. The LEDs will light up when the water reaches them.

Thanks clan_salmons. I saw the system test button, but had no idea what it was for.

These things don't work real well and you will still be mostly guessing. Stuff builds up on the probes and gives false readings. Sometimes they will show full when the tank has been empty for months. We have never trusted them in any RV we have owned.

I have posted this elsewhere, but one trick to clean sensors is to fill the tank about 1/3 full and add 1/4 cup of blue Dawn dish liquid (blue is one of the better grease cutters). Don't empty this when you leave your campsite, and let it slosh around on your travel day. Dump it and flush with fresh water when you get a sewer hookup on your next stop.

This will also loosen sludge in RV black water tanks.

Welcome to the forum. This is what my panel looks like and your's should be similar. Sorry it's sideways, but the ipad doesn't flip pictures well, or maybe it's just me?

That was a 2013. I cleaned it up a bit and added one from an '06. Water heater is one on left. Three on the panel are the same. Have a similar one on my '86 Vixen and it has always worked.
