Winterizing/antifreeze

Wondering if I need to use a specific type of antifreeze?

You don't need any antifreeze. You also don't need a water heater bypass. Please use the Search tool to find the term "winterize" for lots of discussions.

Thanks Bill...will look it up now. We don't have "severe" winters here..so I didn't know if I needed to winterize.

Sorry, I was a bit short in my response. You DO need to winterize, but it is a matter of a few minutes' simple work - and does not involve antifreeze, bypasses, or anything complex (although these things can't hurt anything, of course). Bottom line, take a look at the winterizing section of the owner's manual.
