Interesting in general, just subscribed.

86% of all RVs are from two companies
Sales are booming
QC is a real problem.

That said I've noticed that few companies have more than lists of options, all individual.It would make more sense to have a limited number of option packages. This would simplify logistics and installation.

For example what I've been playing with could best be termed a "primitive location in a hot climate" package & could include a gen, solar, inverter, 200 or 400 AH of battery, and a high efficiency soft start AC.

Similarly toilet could be a option including the 360 siphon and choice of recirc or cassette.

Is common in the auto industry but apparently not in RVs.
