Default jack knife sofa replacement

looking to replace jack knife sofa on a 2720 sl has anyone swapped this out i would like to make the area more sleepable i know i would have to accommodate for the drop off at the foot and the furnace,,,i would like to do something like this


any ideas?

Bill, did you end up finding a sofa bed like the YouTube video that would work in the TM?

I did not I replaced it with a model from etrailer it was like 500 bucks

Wow, that appears to be a great fit. Is it mounted to the wall or floor? What did you do with the furnace and the cabinet in the slide?

The cover that came with it simply hangs off the front and covers the old cover,,i guess the new cover is not really needed, the "storage box" is still there. I simply cut the metal tabs on the angle iron that the old couch slid into,, . I had to line it up, and drill holes in the old angle iron to mount it...i also bought fabric at a local store to cover the old fabric on the arms, and "legs"
