Default Grill Rail Mount?

Just upgraded from a Coleman Pup to a 2720. One thing I noticed was there was no rail mount for the my grill that I wanted to keep from my old Coleman. Has anyone put a rail mount on an exterior wall and run a LP quick connect outlet to it?

Thanks,
B

That was something we missed from our Coleman Bayside. Our answer was to buy the Camp Chef two burner stove and an 11 lb propane tank. We set this up wherever is the best location near the trailer. Total cost with accessories was about $150. Look for them on sale at Big 5 sporting goods, they seem to have the lowest cost. It is really a much better stove than the Coleman rail stove.

We went to a hose and y-connector on the 20 lb tanks that the y-connector has a 1 lb fitting. We use a coleman propane stove and we have a small grill which both work off the 1 lb tank. In our case a hose to the 1 lb fitting on the y-connector on the 20 lb tank. We had the rail on out pup, but don't miss it. I aways thought it was a bad design to have the heat and smoke next to the camper.

Now we use a table that has one side with a steel grate and other side plastic table top for the grill and stove. Much nicer to get the grill and stove away and down wind of the camper.

I have been thinking of converting the coleman stove to low pressure by removing it's regulator and adding a quick disconnect to the TM that I could use with the WAVE heater or coleman stove. Maybe this fall since were planning some dry camping.

I use a collapsible tailgater's grill that I found on eBay. It easily fits in the back of my truck and with a 15 ft. gas hose that adapts to the trailer's tank, I can put it where ever is convenient and don't need to carry an extra tank.
