When you say it "went out", can you be a little more specific? The most common failure mode for these things is a bad capacitor, which costs less than $10 to replace. When it went, did it smoke or smell?

In addition, you might give your location, since shipping is going to be a major expense.

I have this AC from a Trailmanor camper I have parted out. It worked before it was removed a about year ago. The outside cover is cracked pretty bad. If you don't need the cover this might work for you. I have included pictures so you could see if this is the same unit you have.

My price $50. I don't know if something like this could be shipped? I could check UPS. But pick up would obviously be the best bet if you're interested.

I'd be interested if someone was coming to visit the mouse and could bring it.

I think this is the Dometic 57915 series of 13,500 BTU air conditioners. "Installed weight" 95-100 pounds, according to the manual.

Default Ac

When we were using it this summer, was running fine but just as we were about to turn it off it just stopped running, was making a funny noise. If it's a $10 compacitor I would love to find that out. How do you know? And how do you install?

Is the unit still available? Our daughter lives in Knoxville, not to far to go. For some reasons won't let me see the pictures. Can you send an email?

Sorry been so long but with winter haven't checked this forum till now.

Thanks

Live near Nashville, TN Like to hear more about that capacitor!! Hope that is all it is.

Where is located in unit and is it easy to replace?

When it went out had been running hard as it was really hot all week and not much shade where we were, it did have a smell and made funny noise. I'm not really handy with stuff like this so not sure what it needs.
