Default Parting out 1999 3326 king

Though the unit is over 15 years old, it has very few miles on it (only two road trips), as it has been on a stationary site for several year. it is showing its age.

It was tuned up about 5 years ago, new soft seals, new sink kitchen and faucet, cleaned and recharged AC and heat strip installed. Both horizontal propane tanks re-certified in 2012 and new regulator and quick connect hoses. Has an auto-seek direct tv satellite dish on front top, that can stay or be removed

Damage happened this spring when we open it upped, the right front side wall separated from the front curved section. Toilet has cracks on top but work fine, new 4 years ago. Awning shows age and right side cap missing but works well.

We are getting ready to due some heavier travel in a 5h wheel now that MRS. has retired. We will be bringing it home this weekend to prepare it for whatever.

As stated either going to part out or take 2900.0or BO as is. This unit was used almost every week from end of March til end of October.

How much for the water heater door ( metal cover on the outside of the trailer) Plus the brackets on the wall for the cabinets. Do you have a fantastic vent fan ?

I'm interested in the pocket-stop covers as well. How do the roof vent screens & trim panels look? Do you have a bike rack receiver on the back? Corner latches and top main latch in decent shape? How about one of the outside doors for the front storage bin? Thanks!

Dennis -

The separation of the walls may not be as scary as it appears. As I recall, in the separation area there is a 1X1 stick of aluminum or (more likely) wood. You can see it in the third picture. The front and the side panels are attached to this wood with a number of big screws, and the screw heads are covered by the corner molding, which is then caulked. In other words, I think the problem can be corrected.

The toilet cracks can be fixed. One outfit, used by some on this board including me, is Phillips Plastics in Phoenix. Use the Search tool.

The awning cap can be replaced. The fabric may be another matter, depending pon condition, but the awning is not a critical part of the trailer.

Parting out is a long tough job. Just ask Kyle Malmin.

Just my thoughts, but you might find that selling the complete unit to someone who is handy, at a low price, would be a better solution for you.

Bill
