Curious to hear how this turned out---- I bought a TM from someone in this very thread last week (Thank you!!!) and found Yesterday that it does scrape the driveway a bit. I can flip and reverse the axle myself but that's going to be QUITE a lift, re-arching or bigger shackles/hangers on the springs sound better to me.

It's already on 15" wheels but as I'd like to go to aluminum.... I think I'd move to 215/85/16 "E" highway rib michelin/ or another commercial tire of the sort at the same time---- I don't think I need THAT much of a lift to clear them, and combined with the tire height increase itself, the driveway clearance will be quickly fixed.

With the heavy 16" tires, I'd feel that I gave it my best to minimize the chance of failure---Many may call it overkill, but that's fine!

Another method is to change out the spring hangers for taller ones:

Will do! Today will be the first time I tow it out of town, ~70 miles, to where it'll likely be stored when not in use. I'll be able to mock up some other wheels while there, measure clearance for a bit taller tire, etc.

I'll be moving the TM's 15" tire/wheel setup over to my boat trailer that is currently on 13" wheels if everything goes well. Win-win!

Sounds like quite an ambitious project - welcome aboard, I love ambitous projects! Of course, if it just scrapes the driveway "a bit", and the scrape happens as the wheels go over the gutter at the end of the driveway, it might be simpler to do as many of us (including me) do, and lay down a short length of 2x6 in the gutter, to lift the TM over the low spot.
